Dazzle us with your FLASHIEST outfit!

Leave the neutrals (black/grey/beige/navy/etc) at home and DEFINITELY DON'T wear any white. Impress us with an explosion of joyful colours, sequins, jewellery, feathers, metallic fabrics, artificial furs, laces, etc.

Who cares about suits? We don’t believe that suits and/or long dresses are the only answer to formal wear. If you have cultural or ancestral outfits for celebratory occasions that are outside Western convention, we would be thrilled if you wore them.

Have fun with it. This is a party and celebration! Experiment with unconventional items (hats or headpieces, kilts, harnesses, sashes, oversized bows and ties, etc), outfits, accessories, makeup, or jewellery outside of traditional gender norms (even if it’s for the first time!).

Be resourceful. We don’t want you to break the bank, and our priority is you having fun. If you want to wear something you already own, we’d really appreciate if you accessorised a little over the top with as many other bright items as you can, etc.

Ask for help. If wearing colour is not something you regularly do, reach out to a friend who could lend you some pieces or accessories. If you are unsure, let us know and we'll happily share ideas depending on what your vision is.
